Just surfing round the internet and found a cool little thing for blogs. It’s a little script that shows how much your blog is worth. At the moment, mine is worth $5,080.86. Not bad at all to say it’s less than 6 months old
lets see what it’s like in 6 months time…

My blog is worth $5,080.86.
How much is your blog worth?

Threadwatch have found out that a few people from the Google spam team have left to work for a SEO company! Now this lucky SEO company will have an insight into how Google functions, probably not the whole algo but definately how they see spam, lucky buggers
Now the scarier part of all this is that they came from the Google spam team, which is headed by Matt Cutts, Google’s front man and face of the company, Matt Cutts is yet to respond.

Today Google declared that they have finally sorted out the Googlebomb, which means Tony Blair is no longer a liar and George Bush is no longer a miserable failure…according to Google.
Now well done to Google for sorting this out with there hand crafted algo update but I feel this isn’t over just yet, it could go one way or another:
One way is that they haven’t eliminated all Googlebombing due to some being harder to distingquish at the moment.
Second way is that this algo could handycap people who have a lot of links with the same achor text trying to promote there site.
Lets hope they got it spot on

Someone, who calls himself fuckingpirate has been hacking all the SEO gurus blogs. He made a complete list of sites he was going to hack on a wordpress blog he had made, 3 of which he got which was Wolf Howl, BoogyBonBon and Stuntdubl VIA a wordpress exploit and then attacking them with an automated script. Fuckingpirate has made it obvious where he is and has even offered people to meet up with him. Seems like he’s trying to liven up the SEO world but going the wrong way around it.
Anyway Wordpress have released a new version of Wordpress to protect against this exploit.

When I loaded up my computer this morning I was greeted with the usual Windows WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage) so I clicked the X and carried on. I opened up firefox expecting to find Google and my personalised page with my news feeds on it. Instead I was forwarded onto this very strange screen

Now am I reading that right!? a Firefox extension from Microsoft for thier WGA thing? Wow thanks Microsoft, not only can you annoy me VIA the start bar, but you can now also bug me while I’m browsing the internet! This ain’t right
